Need Good Karma?
Okay all of you sinners (and just plain nice people, too), it's time to score some good karma.
My friend Michael needs some help. Michael has Muscular Dystrophy and has to spend the majority of his time in a wheelchair. Now, most people in his situtation would feel sorry for themselves and collect a disability check from the government each month. But not Michael! Michael works 40 - 60 hours a week (we used to work together at Geico Insurance) and has made quite an effort to lead a normal life. I can honestly say, Michael is one of the coolest and hardworking people I know. His problem is that his means of transportation is literally falling apart and he needs to get a new van. That may not seem like a big deal, but he needs a vehicle that is customized for him because of his disability and they cost $90,000! He has found one that is used and exactly what he needs, but it is still $50,000, which is understandably out of his price range. You can read more about this at Michael's website. If you can't help out with a donation, perhaps you could put some links to his site on your website/blog/myspace? That would be awesome and you will reap the benefits of good karma!

Actually, between this blog entry and this post at DP Forums, $1000 was raising in 24 HOURS! RAD!
