Romance is Not Dead

I just got the following email from someone that I do not know:

"hi how are u? are u married? do u like to have sex. iwhat is your phone number. what is your name please write back from shimon"

Isn't that romantic? I just want to rip my clothes off and throw myself at Shimon!

The fellow is disgusting, don't throw your clothes, instead through something large, and pointed. A remark will do (yours was admirably sarcastic) but objects that will remove the risk of my ever hearing the drivel oozing from that person is preferable.
Ironically I found this blog whilst searching for some sort of written material of someone who experienced something genuinely romantic. Sadly it doesn't seem to exist. This 'Shimone' exists in a vast and repulsive majority.
For the record I am not a woman, and I am 17. I seem to exist as the hope of the future, alone.

You are right, Mr. Anonymous. Sadly, such ridiculously desperate panderings are typical now adays. Technology allows such anonymity that people feel comfortable delivering such "romantic" gestures. Would Shimone have the guts to say something so inane in person? Hell no. Would a spammer show up at my house every hour with the same discount coupon for penis enlargement? Nope.

I have a love hate relationship with the internet...:)
