Windows is the Retarded Step Brother of Macintosh
Okay, so I got a new intel iMac because my business outgrew Quickbooks Pro and their Enterprise version is Windows based. I just couldn't bring myself to buy an IBM, so I went for the iMac that can run both Windows and OSX. The more I work with Windows, the more I realize that Windows is the retarded step brother of Macintosh! AND, I fucking hate windows!!!!!!!
I figured that I better install my printer so I install it on the Mac side and lalalala...insert CD....lalalalala...oh, it's installed and working. Gee, that was easy. Next, let's install the printer on Windows....lalalalal...click, click....lalalal....huh?.....lalalala....hmmm ...why isn't this working..WTF is that thing?!
"Use the following port: LTP1: (Recommended Printer Port)
Note: Most computers use the LTP1 port to communicate with a local printer. The connector for this port should look something like this:"

Are you kidding my little Windows retard? I havn't seen a port like that since I was 8. Have you ever heard of a U-S-B? U-S-B stands for "Universal Serial Bus" and that is what grown ups use in their little computer boxes nowadays.
God I hate Windows.

7 Shenanigans:
I will now attempt to install the printer onto the network so you can print from your windows.
I am very nervous.
I deleted the Epson Printer off of your computer and reinstalled it and added it to one of your Com ports (which are USP). I aligned the printer cartridges which printed just fine. Alright, i fixed it. I then opened up Note Pad and tried printing a test page and the entire operating system crashed. WTF
I had to do this two times trying to read the error message that went up on the screen for one second before Windows shut down and then restarted. I ended up having to take a picture of the error screen so I could read what it said because it flashed by the screen so quickly. WTF
It told me that your USB drives were not high speed but your printer USB was high speed. This was causing a fatal error and that I needed to update your USB drives. So...
I downloaded the latest and greatest from microsoft.com and did the entire process over again. When I hit print, I got the same error message again. WTF
So, I went to the Parallels Support Forum and found, what I thought to be the answer, install Bonjour for windows! It will auto detect the printer and recomend the right port. Sweet...Apple is awesome. Well, not in this case, Bonjour didn't detect any printers at all. Next.
This took me about an hour and a half. I thought maybe we needed to download Windows based drivers for your EPSON (maybe it currently has Mac drivers, hence the error) printer but didn't have time to find them AND I wasn't sure if that was going to work. so...
I created a home network on my PC and gave your computer permission to access the network. I turned my printer into a Network printer on our Home Office and went back to your computer to see if it would pick up our home office network. It didn't. WTF
Sooo....I went to the start menu, clicked on run and typed in \\NAMEOF OURNETWORK and your computer found our new Home Office network. I clicked on the printer and like magic...it worked.
FYI: My computer needs to be turned on in order for you to print.
How romanitc!
"Fatal error".
One of the most overused (and untrue) statements ever.
Infuriating all the same though.
>.<
Yeah, that's techno love for ya :)
But seriously though, a printer in a parallel port equals more free USB ports for toys :p
Windows blows.
Bill's retarded child, INDEED.
