Luxury Baby Gift - $17,000 Diamond Pacifier
It seems that everyone is having babies lately, so I've been looking for unique baby gifts online (I'm not the "pick a gift from the registry", kind of girl). In my search for the perfect baby gift, I happened upon itsmybinky.com. They specialize in custom pacifiers (I love custom/unique gifts) and I saw this picture of a rhinestone pacifier, so I went to check it out.
Oh boy, those are not rhinestones my friend. That would be a solid white gold pacifier with 278 pave cut diamonds, bearing a price tag of $17,000! Hmmm. A bit out of my baby gift price range...
These diamond pacifiers are made of solid 14K white gold and sparkle with 3 carats of white diamonds. Each pacifier can be customized with colored diamonds and engraving for a one of a kind keepsake. These diamond studded pacifiers have a silicon nipple and moving handle, but they are not recommended for actual use (Um, hello? You mean I shouldn't stick $17,000 in my babies mouth and hope she doesn't spit it out in the mall somewhere?). I wonder if anyone has purchased one of these diamond pacifiers?! Talk about some serious luxury baby bling....

4 Shenanigans:
That was a bit of a shocking image at first. It initially looked like a flashback to a Pulp Fiction scene.
I guess only a 'dummy' would spend that cash on a pacifier.
(Do you call them "dummies" too, or just pacifiers?)
They sent one of those to Shiloh Jolie-Pitt right after she was born. I hope to god people aren't actually purchasing these things.
LMAO @ Bulbboy :D
Yeah, BBFK told me they were called pacifiers, but they do look like those gag things from Pulp Fiction :o
Anyways, you'd have to be an idiot to buy one of those things for your kid, I could have a new car, kitchen or bathroom for that, or pay of some of my mortgage LOL
I think the "pulp fiction thing" you guys are referring to is a bondage ball gag...I only know this because I just did a google search for "pulp fiction gag thingy". Honest.
Well, I am ranting far from the luxery baby gift summer blogged about...I am with you lever...I'd rather take summer on a private boat trip to Indo, pay off a truck, spend $5k on landscaping and put some cash away for a rainy day than buy this amazing pacifier.
