$411.16, Later…

$411.16 later, Kuta got stitches and a fancy “Under the Sea” bandage.

I don’t know how my silly dog ended up cutting himself so bad, but it was pretty gross. It was a 3″ gash that went through all the layers of skin so his skin was just hanging open to reveal muscle and tissue. It looked like a partial degloving. Gross. Normally I would doctor it up myself, but he definately needed stitches so I took him down to a local vet and got him sewed up. Pets are expensive :P.
Oh yeah, and Kuta also wanted me to let you all know that he does not like the part where they stick a thermometer up his butt. It makes him feel like he has to poop…and then he does…
Aww…poor boy. Get well soon, Kuta!
Yes, pets can be expensive,
but they are worth every penny/cent.
Yep, I agree. Kuta is worth every penny I’ve spent on him. So far Kuta has cost over $5500 in vet bills and I would do it all over again. He’s the coolest dog/bodyguard EVER!
awww….poor Kuta. I am so glad that it wasnt monkey that made him get stitches…
omg! kuta doggers got hurt
Mikey sends you love and many dogger bones!
so, after you telling me that Kuta wasn’t yelping or anything after he got hurt, i saw an Animal Planet tv show that was talking about the fact that dogs or animals in general, have a VERY high threshold for pain. Kuta was dealing with the pain because instinct tells them not to make too much noise or he may have become prey to another animal after they sense his weakness.
Granted…Monkey would have protected him to her death from those annoying LOUD YAPPING dogs next door they decided to try to eat Kuta in his weak state.
I came back here looking for a picture of Kuta wearing his awesome cone…instead I found a cute picture of Kuta with his hair looking really funny. He looks like he’s got a persons haircut on his head.
Well, duh…Kuta is a person. Why wouldn’t he have a persons haircut on his cute little head?
